Marie Burns' Obituary
Mrs. Burns was born the daughter of William and Mamie Kelly Burns. She was a housewife, member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a member of the Illinois Association of Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractor’s Women’s Auxiliary. She married Raymond L. Burns on April 3, 1932 in Sullivan, and he preceded her in death on November 12, 1980.
Surviving are her daughter: Susan Tomimoto, husband Warren of Kaneole, Hawaii; sons, Charles William Burns, wife Sandra of Bloomington, and George H. Burns, wife Tammy of Decatur; grandchildren, Mike and Greg Severe; Brian, Bill and Brad Burns, Dana Kownick; Stacey, Aimee, and Lance Tomimoto; Matt and Alison Burns, 16 great grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, daughter Sally Severe, 2 sisters, and 1 brother preceded her in death.
