Marilyn Lois Jackson, 78, of Decatur passed away on Tuesday March 30, 2010 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 10:00 am Monday April 5, 2010 in Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Molloy as Celebrant. Visitation will be 5:00 ' 7:00 pm Sunday with a Vigil Prayer Service at 4:30 pm in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery Assumption, IL. Marilyn was born on April 22, 1931 in Plymouth, WI the daughter of Raymond and Thecla Sommerhoff Anhalt. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She graduated from St. John’s School of Nursing in Springfield, IL and retired as a Registered Nurse from Dr. William Wagner’s office. She married James Jackson in Sheboygan, WI on September 4, 1954.
She is survived by her husband, James: children, Mary Kay Frazier Harold of Kansas City, MO; Carol Maylone Tim of Williamsburg, MI; Allan Jackson Barb of Denver, CO; Tina Moore Mark of Decatur, IL; brother, Kenneth Anhalt Judy of Morton, IL; grandchildren: Joshua Frazier, Lindsay Frazier, Justin Maylone, Trina O’Boyle Tim, Amanda Turner Brent, Rebba Maylone, Connor Moore, Carly Moore, and Samuel Moore; step-grandchild, Christopher J. Wiley; and great-grandchildren: Tristan and Liam.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
