Marilyn Maxine Logue's Obituary
Marilyn Maxine (Davis) Logue, 87, of Decatur, passed away peacefully September 26. 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital, in Decatur, IL.
Marilyn was born February 22, 1931 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Lyman and Alberta (Oswald) Davis. She married, her husband of 70 years, Charles Douglas Logue August 22, 1948 in Decatur, IL.
Marilyn worked as a supervisor for 25 years at Decatur Electronics and then 5 years with Municipal Electronics. She loved to crochet and was famous for making cookies.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Douglas Logue; children Greg Logue of Warrensburg, IL, Kathy Wren of Moweaqua, IL, Cindy Fuentes (Daniel) of Decatur, IL; sister, Charlotte Foster of Midwest City, OK; grandchildren, Patti, Jeremy, Todd, Carly, Daniel; 8 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren and many loving family members and loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Logue; daughter, Sandy Mendenall; son-in-law, Jack Mendenall and sister Nadine Miller.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 28, 2018 at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
