Marjorie J. Weaver's Obituary
Marjorie J. Weaver, 81, of Decatur, died on Friday, Feb. 17, 2006 in Imboden Creek Living Center.
Graveside services celebrating her life will be 10:30 a.m. Mon. Feb. 20, 2006 at Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Pastor Wray Offerman officiating. There will be no visitation. Moran & Goebel Funeral Home are in charge of the arrangements.
Marjorie was born on September 3, 1924 in Decatur, the only daughter of Earl and Emma Roberts Wilson. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was retired form Carson Pirie Scott. Marjorie married Charles Franklin Weaver during WWII and to that marriage was born two children: Michael Charles Weaver deceased and Marcy Niels Mosley of Oreana. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Leigh Mosley-Woodhall, James Weaver and Kristine Weaver; great grandchildren, Peyton, Caydon and Bullveye Woodhall; brother, Bill Janice Wilson.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael in Dec. of 2004; brothers, Jack and Earl Wilson and long time friend Les Matthews of Indianapolis, IN.
