Martha G. Nalefski 67 of Decatur, IL died 12:30 A.M. Saturday November 9, 2002 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday 12, 2002 in St. James Catholic Church. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Monday in J.J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home with a Vigil Prayer Service at 4:30 P.M. Burial will be in the Macon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. James Building Restoration Fund.
Martha was born on October 22, 1935 in Macon, IL the daughter of Wilmer and Elsie Spaulding Coulter. She had worked for Illinois Bell as a telephone operator. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, the St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary, and the Decatur Genealogical Society. She enjoyed gardening and genealogy. She married James H. Nalefski in November of 1956 in Decatur, IL.
Surviving are her husband, sons Michael Cheryl Nalefski of Decatur, IL; J. Kirt Jo Ellen Nalefski of Sarasota, FL; Stephan Lori Nalefski of Chanhassen, MN; Eric Astrid Nalefski of Reading, MA; Mark Nalefski of Peoria, IL; daughter, Carrie Nalefski of Danville, IL; brothers, Noel Phyllis Coulter of Michigan; Bart Giselle Coulter of Michigan; sisters, Janet Smith of Urbana, IL; Nancy Paul Shearer of Moweaqua, IL; grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Stephanie, Krista, Joseph, Kevin, and Matthew.
Her parents, sister, Rosemary Dame, infant sister, Jewel Coulter, and two grandchildren preceded her in death.
