Martin A. Bourisaw's Obituary
Martin A. Bourisaw, 77, of Blue Mound, died Sunday, October 4, 2009 in Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Mt. Zion.
Martin was born July 14, 1932, in Old Mines MO, the son of Albert and Marie Bequette Bourisaw. Martin worked at PPG before retiring after 30 years and owned and operated Blue Mound Plumbing until 1998. He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mt. Zion, Koinonia Team Member, United Steel Workers Union, and Past Zoning Committee Member in Blue Mound. Martin married Maria Leona Burford November 26, 1953.
Surviving is his wife, Leona of Blue Mound; children: Dee husband, Philip Rudd and Pete wife, Noelle Bourisaw of Blue Mound, Michael wife, Camille Bourisaw of Glen View, Susan husband, John Kastelic of Cold Spring, KY; grandchildren: Kelly, Jay, Breanne, Brittni, Zach, Tanner, and Trey; great grandchildren: Brody, Kierstan, and Addison; siblings: Catherine Belt, Ruth Jarvis, Veronica Fields, Cecil wife, Carol Bourisaw, Viola Maness, Geraldine husband, Elmer “Bud” Meyer, Janice husband, Karl Schott, Charlotte husband, Henry Skiles, and John wife, Nancee Bourisaw all of MO; many-many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Martin was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clifford.
Memorial Mass of the Resurrection Celebrating his life will be 11 am, Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Our Lady Of The Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Mt. Zion. To honor Martin’s wishes there will be no visitation and burial will take place at a later date. Memorials: New Life Pregnancy Center.
