Geneva was most certainly the person that was responsible for my lifetime business success. It all started when she was in charge of the payroll department of the State Department of Public Health, she had an opening for an assistant, and went to her boss and told him she had a cousin with High School educated business courses, and talked him into giving me a chance. I went to work in July, 1951, and I assisted her for 3 â?? 4 years. She encouraged me to pursue other advancement positions within the same office. My final job in that office was of in- charge of monies collected from the various Public Health agenciesI left State employment in 1966 to enter into management positions with a number of private companies. I ultimately became a partner in a successful business, that is still in business today. I retired In 1993, owing my lifetime success to the start I received with the help of Geneva. She will always hold a special place in my heart for what she did for me.I await the day when we meet again, because I know she will again intercede on my behalf (and God knows I will need help) and see that I can join with her in receiving success in the great hereafterJohn Sheedy
