Mary E. Chadwick's Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Chadwick 80 of Decatur died Saturday December 16, 2006 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday December 20, 2006 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ponting Cemetery.
Mary was born on September 8, 1926 in Decatur the daughter of Estel and Viola Collenberger. She had worked as a Seamstress at the garment factory. She was a member of First Christian Church, a member of the Moose Lodge and the VFW Auxiliary. She was a volunteer for DMH thrift shop. Mary's favorite saying was "I did it my way".
Surviving are her son, Michael Grant of Springfield; sister, Estola Bergbower of Decatur; life companion, Harold "Buck"Langford of Decatur; grandchildren, Wendy McGinnis David of Decatur; Joe Hollingsead Shannon Hozian of Jacksonville; Jamie Britz Samuel and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Rebecca Revell, one sister, one brother, and one great-grandchild.
