Mary S. Cordray's Obituary
DECATUR — Mary Siberta Bentz Cordray, 96, of Decatur went to be with the Lord Monday (July 20, 2015) in Heartland Manor Care Nursing Home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before services.
Mary was born March 10, 1919, in Bethany, the only child of Lawrence and Julia Sibert Bentz. She married the Rev. John Cordray in 1942. He preceded her in death in 1980. Mary was a sweet and soft-spoken lady. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her sons, John (Amy) Cordray of Pensacola, Fla.; Larry (Nancy) Cordray of Decatur; granddaughters, Carol Ann (Jeff) Rogers of Pensacola; Lisa (Richard) Clark of Akron, Ohio; Kelley Horn of Pottsville, Pa.; Lydia (Curtis) Gentry and Elizabeth (Mike) King, both of Decatur; grandson, Daniel Cordray of Decatur; 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; grandson, Michael Cordray; and daughter-in-law, Mary Albright Cordray.
The family of Mary Cordray would like to thank the staff at Heartland for keeping her healthy and active for more than 10 years.
