Mary Michele Lamb's Obituary
Mary Michele Lamb, 76, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Isidore Cemetery in Bethany, Illinois. Michele was born December 26, 1947, the daughter of Louis and Rose (Marchisello) Cheviron in Decatur, Illinois. Michele met and married the love of her life Richard Lamb on November 23, 1973. Michele worked in interior design and home organization. She enjoyed cross stitching and reading. She was a dedicated and loving foster parent that loved unconditionally. Michele’s greatest joy in life was being with family and the ones she loved. Michele is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Richard Lamb, son Justin Lamb, her daughter, Amanda (Josh) Milligan a grandson Connor Lamb, granddaughter, Michelena Milligan, her brother, Mark (Cindy) Cheviron and sisters, Diane (Craig) Catney and Lois (Jim) Wildman. Michele is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Phyllis Somers and Rita Willems. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com.
