Mary Ann Miller, 81, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, February 02, 2016, in McKinley Court.
Mary Ann was born April 11, 1934, in Ashton, NE, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Marie (Gappa) Bukowski. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Decatur. Mary Ann loved to play bingo, go shopping, and taking bus trips with Mary Bullock. Mary Ann married Ronald E. Miller on March 22, 1974, and they shared 39 wonderful years together. Ronald preceded her in death on November 21, 2013.
Mary Ann leaves behind her stepsons, Randy Miller and wife Teresa of Decatur; Michael Miller and Donna Jackson of Decatur; stepdaughter, Kristy “Cricket” Miller and wife Laura Williams of Decatur; brother, Joseph Bukowski of Nebraska; grandchildren, Justin Miller and wife Becky; Brit Miller and wife Emily; Leigh Miller; Matthew Miller; and great-grandchildren, Macy, Cooper, and Beau Miller.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; parents; brothers, William, Henry, Raymond and Eugene; and sisters, Florian and Margaret.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Evergreen Assisted Living and to nieces Patty and Sandy for all of their loving care.
Funeral Liturgy to celebrate Mary Ann’s life will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016, at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Memorials in memory of Mary Ann may be directed to St. Thomas Catholic Church.
