Joe, Steve, Mollie, Victor and Jody, I have so many fond memories of Beryl from growing up next door to you. She made the best pumpkin blossoms and Snickerdoodles ever! Before that I had no idea what they were like. I remember her craftiness, and the way she made your home seem so welcoming not only in its appearance, but mostly in her presence. After my Mom passed and I was working on the house, she would just wander over sometimes, and chat about the good old days in the neighborhood and what you were all up to while checking out the progress we were making. Her presence gave me comfort, in a time I felt really lost, for that I was so thankful. We used to get a kick out of all the kities she befriended under your shed. I used to smile when I saw her pull out of the driveway, she was so tiny you could hardly see her behind the wheel! Beryl was a kind, gentle, beautiful soul, and I know that she an all that have passed before her are probably having a great time catching up over a cup of coffee. You are in my thoughts and prayers.Tina Clark/Sekimi
Mom is in paradise with Jesus. She is the strongest and bravest person I have ever known. Her legacy will live on. The love that she created in this realm will endure. Indeed…Mary Beryl Martin-O'Dell's loving foot steps are imprinted on the hearts of many….and that, my friends… is what we are put on earth to do…True love for humankind is all we are asked to do…So my final words are…no tears, no sadness…go forth and love…that is what Mary Beryl would want.
