Mary Louise Pat Moore, 87, of Decatur, formerly of Illiopolis, passed away Monday, March 05, 2012 at Fair Havens Christian Home.
Mary was born December 8, 1924 in Decatur a daughter of John and Jenny Saco Piriano. A homemaker, Mary was a member of the following: Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and Our Lady of Lourdes 55 Club, Macon County Land Owners, Kiwanians, Farm Bureau Women, St. Ann’s Altar Society, numerous Bridge & Card Clubs and an Election Judge. She married James A. Moore May 11, 1946 in Decatur and he preceded her in death June 20, 1991. Also preceding her were her parents and siblings: Paul, Dominic, Nellie, Rena and Mickie.
Surviving are her children: Linda Jane Bailey of Muskegon, MI; James Bruce Brenda Moore of Decatur and Dr. Mark Franklin Tammy Moore of DuBuque, IA; grandchildren: Tanya Chris, Anthony Kim, Lewis Stacy, Jennifer Matt, Stephanie, Christina, Lindsay, Connor, Matt, Jon and Ellie; great-grandchildren: Alex, Catherine, Caroline, Jack, Cameron, Jolynn and Madison; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be 10:30 am, Thursday, March 8, 2012 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Rev. Richard Weltin celebrant. Visitation will begin at 9 am Thursday until the mass time in the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Illiopolis. Memorials may be made to: Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or Good Samaritan Inn.
