Mary Jane Riley, 84, of Decatur, died on Friday, Jan. 28, 2005 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Mass of the Resurrection celebrating her life will be 10 a.m. Mon. Jan 31, 2005 in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sun. in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home where a vigil prayer service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery Decatur. Memorials are suggested to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
Mary Jane was born on Feb. 12, 1920 in Springfield, the daughter of Joseph P. and Frances C. Boehme Bulger. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and Sister in Christ Bible Club. Mary Jane married Roger Eugene "Gene" Riley on Dec. 4, 1943 in West Palm Beach, FL.
Surviving is her husband, Roger Eugene "Gene" Riley of Decatur; daughters: Margaret E. husband, Kevin McIlvoy of Las Cruces, NM; Jane F. husband, Michael Flickinger of Carlsbad, CA; Catherine E. husband, David Riley-Kresin of Denver, CO; sons: Joseph E. wife, Carol Riley of Bloomingdale, IL; Anthony "Tony" G. wife, Jodi Riley of Trinidad, CO; brother, Robert C. wife, Norma Bulger of Lake City, MN. and nine grandchildren
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents.
