Mary E. Sudduth's Obituary
Mary E. Sudduth, 81, of Decatur, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 in St. Mary’s Hospital.
Mary was born November 3, 1936 in Thebes, Illinois, the daughter of Louie and Esta (Jackson) Jaco. She was a devoted homemaker and caregiver. Mary was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, yardwork, and helping others. She married Myron J. Sudduth on May 11, 1969. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2013.
Mary leaves behind her children, Joseph (Pam) Sudduth of Tuscola, Debra Pittman of Decatur, David (Joy) Pittman of Decatur, Neil (Cathy) Sudduth of Normal, Cynthia Medlock of Decatur, Dean (Nancy) Sudduth of Perrysville, IN, R. Shawn (Diana) Pittman of Farmer City, Sheila (Jorge) Infante of Decatur, Kara (Richard) Whalen of Decatur, and June Duley of Bowling Green, KY, sister Joyce (Nathan) Johnson of Nashville, TN, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, and three brothers.
Services to celebrate Mary’s life will be 10:00 AM Thursday, January 11, 2018 at First Free Will Baptist Church, 2709 N 27th St, Decatur. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the church. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery 1:00 PM Friday, January 12, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Free Will Baptist Church.
