Mary F. Walter's Obituary
Mary F. Walter, 78, of Decatur, died Friday, November 24, 2011 at Imboden Creek Living Center.
Mary was born December 5, 1932 in Gause, TX, the daughter of Clementine and Frances Luce Reese. She worked as a waitress for many years at the Redwood Restaurant and then worked at Kroger in Fairview Plaza. Mary married Larry Marshall in 1950 and he preceded her in death August 18, 1982. She then married Chuck Walter who also preceded her in death. Her parents, daughter Mary Risley and brother Jesse Reese also preceded her in death.
Surviving is her son, Richard Marshall of Nederland, TX and daughter, Larrie Doyle Turner of Mt. Zion; 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; sister, Helen Holmes; brother, Henry Lee Reese of Bridge City, TX along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2011 in Macon County Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
