Mattie M. Tucker-Green's Obituary
Mattie M. Tucker-Green, 78, of Decatur departed to be with Lord on Sunday, August 27, 2017 in her home.
Mattie was born the ninth child of John and Naomi (Taylor) Freeman Sr. on May 3, 1939 in Decatur. She was a member of Church of the Living God CWFF # 46. She worked for St. Mary’s Hospital, Adolph Meyer, Lincoln Developmental Center in Lincoln, and Aspen Ridge.
She leaves not to mourn but cherish fond memories her sister, Ruth E. Slater, special sister/friend, Mable Grayned, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many relatives.
She was greeted in heaven by her parents, husbands, Prince Tucker Jr and Willie Green, and son, Prince Ricardo Tucker.
Graveside service to celebrate Mattie’s life will be 11 AM Saturday, September 2, 2017 in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 Friday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home.
