Maureen Alumbaugh, 61 of Naperville, formerly of Decatur died Tuesday March 30, 2004 in Edward's Hospital in Naperville.
Memorial Liturgy will be 11 am Friday April 2, 2004 in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, where visitation will be one hour before services. Rev. Dennis Kollross will be the liturgist. Maureen was born October 09, 1942 in Decatur, IL; the daughter of Charles V. and Rachael Murray Nottingham. She was a cook for the Warrensburg - Latham School District for many years. She was a member of Saint James Catholic Church in Decatur. She married Richard "Red" Alumbaugh in Decatur, on October 17, 1960, he preceded her in death on January 24, 2003.
Survivors include her son, Richard " Doug" Alumbaugh and wife Stephanie of Morrisville, NC; her two daughters, Amy Jo Khan and husband Mohammed Majeed, who Rita lived with during her illness of Naperville and Tina Kay Moyer and husband Steve of Decatur, IL. Sister in- law Gloria Williams and husband Doug of Mt. Zion. Her grandchildren include Heather Alumbaugh, Lori Alumbaugh, Shelby Moyer, Toby Moyer, Kyle Moyer, Marissa Khan and Yasmeen Khan. Several nieces and nephews and cousins also survive her.
Her husband, parents, preceded Maureen in death.
