Learning about the loss of Mike was very sad. I was married to the bass player in The Artistics and Mike was a wonderful sax player and friend of each guy in the band and their wives. Many many many happy memories of hundreds of band nights. May peace and good memories flood the hearts of each in his family to help ease the loss.
Sorry to hear about Mike's passing. Since he seemed never to age, it is hard to believe that he was 70.I worked for Mike at Firestone during the late 70s and was always impressed with his positive outlook on life. He had a management style that taught respect and patience. Looking back, I learned a lot of "people skills" from Mike as he never hesistated to take a mentoring role with his employees.Fortunately, I was able to get in touch with him through social media just a few years ago and was happy to see that he maintained that zest for life and appreciation of others as he aged. I am lucky to have known him and offer prayers and condolences to his family.

I always will respect and admire how Dick, Mike, and Mom were so good to each other and would do anything for each other. Mike was always the silly fun one of the group, making us all laugh.
Mike, you lived life to the fullest and enjoyed it like no other. Hopefully, the next phase will bring you more of the joy you experienced in this one.
