Michael Edward Delaughter's Obituary
Michael Edward Delaughter, 71, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Michael was born on March 14, 1950 in Decatur, the son of August and Charlotte (Davis) Delaughter. He worked for many years as a tow truck driver. Michael was an enthusiastic fan of the Chicago Cubs and Elvis Presley. He also enjoyed his extensive collection of Zippo lighters.
Michael is survived by his brother Jeffrey (Sandra) Delaughter of Decatur, uncle Charles Logue, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Terry Delaughter and Denny Delaughter, and sister Vicki Carpenter.
