Michael R. ”Mike” Hidusky, 92 of Macon passed away on June 17, Tuesday 2003 in Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be 1 pm Monday June 23, 2003 in Saint Stanislaus Catholic Church in Macon. Burial will be in Macon Cemetery with Military Rites Conducted by Mcaon County Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 12 pm to service time at the church. Memorials may be made to the church. Mike was born in Blue Mound on March 10.1911 in Blue Mound, Illinois, the son of Joseph and Julia Smorada Hidusky. He was a Security Specialist with the US Government. He served his country during both the WW II and Korean Conflict, in the Navy. He was a member of the Oren L. Davis VFW Post #99 in Decatur for many years. He loved to trap shoot. He married Lela Powell, she preceded him in death in 1984.
He is survived by one brother Robert Hidusky of Petosky, Michigan and one sister Pauline Hidusky-Carr of Florida. Many nieces and nephews.
