Michael Ray Salmon, Sr.'s Obituary
Michael Ray Salmon, Sr., 79, passed away on Saturday at his home, May 9, 2026, in Riverton, IL. Michael was born on April 6, 1947, in Lansing, MI. Mike enjoyed billiards, darts and spending time with his children. Mike was married to Janice Marie Clements of Berlin, Illinois and had five children. Mike also found joy in crossword puzzles, classic movies and feeding his birds.
Mike is survived by his children: Michelle (BA) Sklenka of Taylorville, Mikie Salmon of Riverton, Mike (Theresa) Salmon of Springfield, James (Kristin) Salmon of Taylorville and daughter in law Paula Clements of Springfield. Grandchildren: Zach, Emily, Bryan, Alex, Cassi, Jessie, Taylor, Trevor, Kalab and Landri. Several great grand children.
Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife Janice Marie Salmon, parents Les and Hazel Bryant, son Carl (Butch) Clements, brother Danny Bryant, and great grandson Nathan Brent.
Moran & Goebel Funeral Home is providing cremation services for Mike. Private memorial services will be held.
