I met Michael on Medium where he not only published spectacular poetry but hosted a lovely publication there for other writers. His gentle intelligence and deep musical soul astounded me. Michael embodied an artful way of being was evident to so many of us. I was deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Knowing him, even in the brief, virtual way that I did, made me a better writer and human being. Rest in Peace MSDHall, I miss you.
Michael was a wonderful soul! We were blessed to be a part of his loving family for awhile and will cherish those memories forever. Always a wonderful conversation every time we got to see each other. Our condolences to Michaels wonderful wife Stephanie and Michaels wonderful family. We love you all! We will miss every opportunity we had to see him, but will think of him often!
Michael was an amazing poet and kept our poetic community going through many changes. He reluctantly decided to close it soon; we all understood. My last messages to him were ones of thanksgiving and support for his envisioned publishing. Hopefully, that will still happen. There were many sides of Michael, and am glad that I got to know him. May he rest in peace, and may light perpetual shine on him.
Words can not describe the emotions we all feel. MDSH, you were brilliant, caring, and full of compassion. You were the mirror image of MamaTLC. You were such a gentle giant and you will be greatly missed by so many. Until we meet again, fly high sweetheart, fly high💔
