Sue and family. I am very heartbroken by the loss of Mike. I have very fond memories of our childhood and it is sad that we lost touch with the challenges and changes in life. I remember all of the whiffle ball games, dungeons & dragons, baseball and basketball games of course, I was more of a spectator due to my lack of talent!, and just spending time together wondering what was next. I always hold dear people in my heart and Mike was one of the nicest people I knew growing up at St Thomas and high school. I have fond memories of the 1984 varsity bulldog baseball team and of course the imfamous state and local history class. I first met Mike through Tony Lees when we were going to Illinois State. He was always a nice, and quiet guy who also happened to be fairly tall. When Tony and I moved near St. Louis we would get together occassionally with Mike. We would always tease him about his cheering for the Cubs, since we were Cards fans. Mike was in our wedding in 1990. We still have the little "prosperity tree" that he gave us for our wedding. We lost touch with him for awhile, but I invited him to come to Tony's 40th birthday party two years ago. He seemed to have a great job. Unfortunately that was the last time we saw him. My condolences go out to Sue, Julie, Brianne, and the rest of the Senger family. We are praying for you. I'm sorry that I won't be able to attend, but Tony will be there. Hugs go out to all of you.
