Topeka - Miecie M. "Fanny" Brackney, 65, of Topeka, IL, passed away at her daughter's residence on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.
Miecie was born on August 19, 1959, in Peoria, IL to the late Herb and Myrtle (Bradshaw) Knee. In Miecie's spare time she loved to "junk" as well as collect many-many things. She loved her family and friends.
Miecie M. "Fanny" Brackney has 4 children surviving: Frank (Jennifer Brown) Brackney Jr of Manito, May (Donnie Knaak) Brackney of Topeka, Danny (Amber) Brackney of Topeka, and John Henry Brackney of Topeka; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; siblings: Rick Knee of Topeka, Tammy Knee of Topeka, Donald Knee of Topeka, and Josh Knee of Bushnell.
Fanny was preceded in death by her parents Herb and Myrtle Knee and brother, Herbie Knee Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
