Myron Sudduth's Obituary
Myron J. Sudduth, 82, of Maroa passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013 in his home with his family by his side.
Services to celebrate Myron's life will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at First Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery with military rites conducted by Inter-Veterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County. Memorials in honor of Myron may be directed to First Freewill Baptist Church.
Myron was born January 16, 1931 in Bourbon/Douglas County in Illinois, the son of Francis and Helen (Skidmore) Sudduth. He served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from Plumber and Pipefitter's Local #149. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church where he was very active in the Bus Ministry. He married his wife Mary E. Jaco on May 11, 1969.
Myron leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Mary; children, Joseph (Pam) Sudduth of Tuscola, IL, Debra Pittman of Maroa, IL, David (Joy) Pittman of Oreana, IL, Neil (Cathy) Sudduth of Bloomington, IL, Cynthia (Michael) Medlock of Garland, TX, Dean (Nancy) Sudduth of IN, R. Shawn (Diana) Pittman of Farmer City, IL, Sheila (Jorge) Infante of Decatur, IL, Kara (Richard) Whalen of Decatur, IL, June Duley of IN; sisters Corrine (Herman) Oye of Tuscola, IL, Janet Bartley of Tuscola, IL; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
