Myrtle Frances Livingston's Obituary
Myrtle Frances Livingston, 100 of Catlin, formerly of Decatur died on Tuesday, February 17, 2003 at the Vermilion Manor Nursing Home, which she had made her home for the past three years.
Funeral Services will be 2 P.M. Friday, February 21, 2003 in
J. J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Jerry Jones officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be to the American Heart Association.
Myrtle was born in Decatur on October 08, 1902 the daughter of Luther Levi and Rebecca Jane Akin Dodson. Mrs. Livingston lived in Decatur almost her entire life. She and her husband operated A & M Livingston Physical Therapy for many years. She was a past member of Grace United Methodist Church and later attended First General Baptist Church. Myrtle married Albert Stuart Livingston on November 1, 1924 in Bloomington, and he preceded her in death on May 06, 1964.
Surviving are her son, Dale Albert Livingston Carolyn of Catlin; grandchildren: Rebecca Butner Andy of Tipp City, OH., Renee’ Mingee Melvin, Rodney Livingston DeAnna all of Catlin; great grandchildren: Melissa Davis and Beau Butner both of Tipp City, OH.; niece Marilyn Lobb; nephews, Ronald Dodson, Fred Dodson, and Jimmy Dodson Mary Ann all of Decatur.
Her parents, husband, two brothers, and five sisters preceded her in death.
