Nancy Sue Drone's Obituary
Decatur – Nancy Sue Drone, 77, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
Nancy was born on May 30, 1949, in Decatur, IL, to Theodore and Amelia Brinkoetter. She was a member of the catholic faith and a homemaker. She married George Drone and he passed away on October 7, 2009. In addition to her husband Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are her children: William “Bill” (Crystal) Marquis, Dustin Drone, Adam Drone, and Shane Drone; grandchildren: Anthony, Rocky, William, Dakota, Harley, Shane Jr, Zada, Bobby, and Levi; many great grandchildren; sister Jean Brown, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In honor of Nancy’s wishes, cremation services will be provided by Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. There will be no services.
