Nancy Jo Ellis' Obituary
DECATUR – Nancy Jo Ellis of Decatur passed away peacefully at 12:08pm Friday, February 6, 2026, in her home with her children by her side. Nancy was born on February 23, 1940, in Decatur, IL. She was the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Davern) Seman.
She married David L. Ellis on March 1, 1958, in Decatur. Nancy was a homemaker who loved gardening and her little doggy, Sissy. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes
Catholic Church and loved church.
Nancy is survived by son Michael J. (Terri) Ellis and daughter Susan A. Ellis of Decatur, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by husband David L. Ellis, son David W. Ellis, and brother Frank Seman.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, followed by committal services at Boiling Springs Cemetery.
