Neal Flinn's Obituary
Neal Flinn, 88, of Decatur, died Thursday, December 17, 2009 in McKinley Court Care Center.
Neal was born in Mobile, AL, on September 1, 1921 the son of Willie and Mary J. Parker Flinn. A member of St. Peters AME Church, Neal was retired from Soy City. He married Elnora Fox April 23, 1943 in Clark County Alabama.
Surviving is his wife, Elnora; daughters: Rosemary Don Vacca of Cave Creek, AZ, Geneal Harvey Williams and Erma Flinn of Decatur, Joyce Robertson of Saraland, AL, Theresa Hunter of Mobile, AL; son, James Flinn of Decatur; sisters: Rosetta Daniel of Mobile, AL, Carrie Louis Tosey of Atlanta, GA; brother, Willie Charlotte Flinn, Jr. of Mobile, AL; a host of beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service: 11 am, Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at St. Peters AME Church; visitation one hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
His parents; sons: Robert E., Robert L., and Willie; great grandson, Brandon, and two brothers preceded him in death.
