Norma Gayle Bratcher, 78, of Decatur, died on Thursday, July 19, 2007 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Mass of the Resurrection celebrating Norma's life will be 10:00 am Monday July 23, 2007 in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Rev. Jeff Grant celebrant. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4 to 6 pm in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home; with a vigil prayer service at 3:45 pm. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. Memorials are suggested to PAWS.
Norma was born on October 15, 1928 in Decatur, the daughter of Charles Francis and Bertha Betrice Lansford Robb. She worked at Pershing Estates Nursing Home in Decatur as a CNA. Norma was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Surviving is one daughter; Karen George Glickert of St. Louis, MO, seven Grandchildren; Raymond Carmickle, Sheila Joe Sewell, Sharon Walter Smith, Joy Carmickle Bill Sexton, Norma Ron Scherffius, Mary Phil Seiper, Anthony Glickert; and twenty one great-grandchildren.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, son-in-law John Carmickle, and one great-grandchild.
