Norman M. Bell's Obituary
Norman M. Bell 78 of Decatur passed away Tuesday evening January 16, 2007, around five o'clock in his home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday 22, 2007 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, 2801 N. Monroe Street with Brother Mayo Towles officiating. Visitation will be one Hour before service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Norman was born on February 6, 1928 in Bowling Green, MO the son of Ishmael James and Ora B. Harrelson Bell. He worked for Wagner Casting Company for over thirty-seven years. He loved to hunt rabbits for sport and his cars.
He leaves one sister, Mrs. Charles Ethel Armstead of Decatur; one brother, Hebert Bell of Decatur; nieces, Diane Bell of St. Louis, MO; Sheila Murry of St. Louis, MO; Dianelle Murray of Decatur; Kathy Bell of Jackson, TN; Teea Moore of Johnson City, TN; Sherly McGee of Decatur; Nita Rice Clyde of Fort Madison, IA; Linda Bell of Arizona; one special nephew Di'aris Tyus of Decatur; nephews, Guy Bell Bonny of Fort Madison, IA; Norman Bell of Fort Madison, IA; Junior Bell of Fort Madison, IA, William Lee Bell Margaret of Savanna, GA.
He was preceded in death by his parent, three brothers, William Ray Bell, Harry L. Bell, and Wallace Bell, and one sister Emily Bell.
Norman's family would like to thank the wound Clinic at Decatur Memorial Hospital and also Dr. Totel and staff for their care.
