Norman Robert Bonnell's Obituary
Norman Robert Bonnell, 82, of Decatur, IL, passed away November 2, 2018 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Norman was born March 7, 1936 in Waupaca, WI, the son of Henry and Myrtle (Hoyt) Bonnell. He married Maryln Ridgeway on July 22, 1966 at Worthsmith AFB in Oscoda, MI.
Norman was a retired USAF veteran. He served as an Avionics Specialist.
Norman was an avid Cubs and Packers fan and he enjoyed playing computer games.
Surviving are his wife, Maryln; children, Valerie Guyer of Rantoul, IL, Vickie Wolff (Ian) of Bay Shore, NY, Andrew Bonnell (Kimberly) of Marion, IA; son-in-law, Michael Gibson (Anne-Marie) of Bloomington, IL; brothers, Henry Bonnell (Cleo) of Waupaca, WI, Larry Bonnell of Oshkosh, WI; grandchildren, William and Miranda Guyer, Evan, Cydney and Jordyn Wolff, Aaron, Paige, August and Maddison Gibson, Joseph and Kaitlyn Bonnell, Tiara Paul, Madison Mitchell, Tyler Mitchell and Taryn Thompson; great grandchildren, Tinsley and Talon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Tracy Gibson, sister, Jacqueline McLaughlin and son-in-law, Lloyd Guyer.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
