Norman C. Curtis Jr.'s Obituary
Norman C. Curtis Jr., 63, of Decatur passed away, on Monday 17, 2011 in his home, after a long battle with cancer of a heart attack.
Norman was born on March 9, 1947 in St. Louis, MO the son of Norman C. and E. Colleen Bloomer Curtis Sr. He graduated from High School in Cumberland, MD and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He attended Millikin University and retired from Illinois Power Company. He enjoyed bridge, fishing, bowling, billiards, music, and classic cars. He was a Bears and Cubs fan. He married Joann Lewis on February 17, 1973 in Decatur.
Surviving are his wife, Jo, mother, E. Colleen Curtis of Decatur; son, Charles W. Curtis Danielle Maloni of Bremmerton, WA; daughter, Alix A. Frazier Benjamin of Decatur; brothers James M. Curtis Beth of Shelby, NC; Brian W. Curtis of Springfield, IL; sister, Candice L. Butts of Assumption, IL; and grandchildren, Emberlynn R. Frazier and Isabelle A. Frazier.

Funeral service celebrating the life of Norman will be 1:00 PM Monday January 24, 2011 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before in the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. The family requests casual attire.
