Opal M. LeHew's Obituary
Ola M. LeHew 96 of Decatur, Il died Monday January 13, 2003 in Fair Havens Christian Home.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday January 15, 2003 in Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Pastor J. Martin Eckert officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service. Burial will be in LaPlace Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Mrs. LeHew was born on September 8, 1906 the daughter of Charles and Mary Peck Weakley. She worked in Ready to wear at Linn & Scruggs retiring in 1968. She was a charter and former member of Christ Lutheran Church and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She married Arnold LeHew in 1923 in Monticello, IL he preceded her in death in 1991.
Surviving are son: Jack Sharon LeHew of Tampa, FL; daughter: Louise Kelly of Decatur, IL; sister: Amanda Whitmore of Danville, IL; Twelve grandchildren, 19 great -grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, 1 son, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 grandson, and 1 great-grandson preceded her in death.
