Pamela Kropla's Obituary
Pamela Elaine Kropla, 54, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 3:50 am at the Maple Ridge nursing home in Lincoln, IL.
Pamela E. Stanley was born June 29, 1957. She married William H. Kropla. He survives. Pamela was a member of the Second Church of God, 2670 E. Division St., Decatur, IL. She was blessed by the love, prayers and special attention they have given her during her life. Though Pamela had been bedfast for several years, she still expressed love with her family and friends with cards and phone calls, sometimes even singing over the phone.
Pamela leaves behind sisters, Linda K. Challans of Decatur, IL; Sharon L. Ewing of Mt. Zion, IL; brothers, Gerald W. Stanley of Decatur, IL; Robert A. Stanley of Decatur, IL; Harold Stanley of Olney, IL; and Steven H. Stanley of Decatur, IL; and 23 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mary G. Stanley and father Wilbur H. Stanley as well as her brothers Wilbur Eugene Stanley, Donald Stanley and David Stanley.
The family would like to give special thanks to Decatur Memorial Hospital and Pamela’s doctor, Ahmad H. Ahmad, and also would like to thank the staff of Maple Ridge nursing home for the care they have given her, with a special thank you to Little Tony, Holly and Randy.
Graveside services to celebrate Pamela’s life will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012 in Fairlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Pamela expressed memorials to be sent to the Second Church of God Youth Program, 52 Club.
