Patrcia Ward's Obituary
Patricia "Patsy" R. Ward 72 of Decatur died Thursday June 2, 2005 in her home.
Graveside services celebrating her life will be 1:30 pm Tuesday June 7, 2005 in Graceland cemetery with Rev. Eugene Worthey officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 - 1:30 pm Tuesday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. View the on-line obituary and send condolences to the family at www.moranandgoebel.com.
Patsy was born on December 18, 1932 in Decatur the daughter of Arthur and Dolly Covey Kingery. She worked as a nurse's aid for several years in nursing homes in Decatur. Gallaway neighborhood Watch and was vice-president for the last seven years.
She married Gerald r. Ward on August 10, 1953 in Decatur he preceded her in Death on September 18, 1991.
Surviving is her sons, Clarence ward of Decatur; Jerry Ward Sr. Julie of Rowlett, TX; Robert Ward of Colorado; daughters Dolly Harless Mike of Decatur; Marilyn Stewart Ralph Sr. of Decatur; brother, David Kingery Pat of Texas; sisters, Wanda Reed of Decatur; Betty Nihiser Chuck of Decatur; grandchildren, Reana, Keith, Mikie, Jerry jr., Shiloh, and Ralph Jr., and great-grandchildren, Bobby, Rebecca, William, Claudia, Maranda, and Brianna.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Harold, two sisters, and two brothers.
She was loved by her neighborhood kids.
