Patricia Ann Ewald's Obituary
Decatur – Patricia Ann Ewald, 80, of Decatur, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur.
Pat was born September 27, 1935 in Sullivan, Illinois, the daughter of Francis and Eileen (Lash) Witts. A member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pat worked as the secretary at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School for 41 years. Pat married Charles Ewald and he preceded her in death March 7, 2001.
Pat is survived by her children: Joe Ewald, Julie (Brad) Kershner, and Joshua Ewald all of Decatur; grandchildren: Drew, Travis and Megan and many friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Mass of Christian Burial to Celebrate Pat’s life will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church; Rev. Richard Weltin, celebrant. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with a vigil prayer service at 4:30 p.m. Burial will be at Boiling Springs Cemetery in Decatur. Memorials may be made to SMILE, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Decatur Christian School.
