Patricia A. Grant's Obituary
Decatur – Patricia A. Grant, 89, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025.
Patricia was born on August 27, 1935, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of James J. and Dorothy J. (Peebles) Moran Jr. Patricia attended St. Mary of the Woods College and Millikin University. She worked as a teacher’s assistant for Decatur Public Schools for many years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Alpha Chi Omega, Macon County Historical Society, and lifetime member of the PTA. Patricia married Walter Edwin Grant on January 26, 1957, in Decatur and he passed away on September 12, 2008.
Patricia is survived by her daughter Mary C. (William) Bolletta of Auburn; grandchildren: Matthew Willam Bolletta and Erin Christine Bolletta; sister Carol Moran of Decatur; nieces: Cheryl Jackson, and Stephanie Stavropoulos, and nephew Brian Peters.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son James, sister Katherine Peters, brother-in-law Terry Peters, and niece Rebecca Betian.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 10am until the funeral liturgy at 11am, at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in North Fork Cemetery.
