Patricia A. Grider's Obituary
Patricia A. Grider, 74, of Decatur died at 4:09 pm on Monday October 03, 2005 in her residence.
Graveside Interment rites will be conducted 10 am Thursday in Graceland Cemetery where Rev. Connie Green will officiate. Patricia was born in Decatur on February 04, 1931 the daughter of Oscar D. and Hazel F. Walker Taylor. She was a former member of Prairie Avenue Christian Church. She worked at a cook for McArthur High School for many years. She married Donald A. Grider in Decatur, he preceded her in death in 1987.
Patricia is survived by her two sons; Dr. D. Robert “Rob” Grider and wife Mary of Danville and Donald R. Grider and wife Connie of Gurnee. One brother, Robert Taylor of Summerset, Kentucky and two sisters, Margaret Tanzyus of Decatur and Marilyn Crenshaw of Effingham. Four grandchildren also survive.
