Patricia A. Hogan's Obituary
Patricia A. Hogan, 80, of Macon, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013 in her home with her loving family by her side.
Pat was born March 12, 1933 in Mattoon, IL, daughter of Helen Marie (Moran) and Peter Conlin. She was a homemaker and member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Pat married Paul M. Hogan August 29, 1953 in Arcola and he preceded her in death on September 10, 2002. Also preceding her in death were her parents, son Tom and daughter in law Teri, brother Peter and great grandson Hunter.
Surviving are her daughters: Paula Hirstein, husband Warner of Decatur; Pam Craft, husband Brad of Decatur; Patty Powers of Normal; Jan Adams, husband Ken of Independence, MO; sons: Phil Hogan, wife Jeanne of Dalton City; Mike Hogan, wife Janet of Dalton City; and Chris Hogan, wife Bridget of Decatur. 24 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren; brother Richard Conlin of Mattoon; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church concluding with a Rosary led by Sr. Marianne Nolan, O.P. at 5 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will take place in Macon Cemetery. Memorials: Holy Family Catholic Church and/or School or New Life Pregnancy Center.
