Patricia Ann Perry's Obituary
Decatur – Patricia Ann “Patty” Perry, 71, of Decatur, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Patty was born June 21, 1945, in Decatur, the daughter of Francis and Betty Ann (Heynen) Perry. She worked as a banker and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and TOPS. Patty was a master gardener who loved to read, play bunko and volunteer at Busy Bees Daycare and Forsyth Grade School. Patty loved her family very much. Especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Patty is survived by her children: Crissy Ashby (Rodney), Brian Maier (Nikki) and Steve & Gayla Mattingly of Decatur; grandchildren: Krista (Kathryn), Zac and Lexi; great grandson, Drew; mother, Betty Ann Perry of Decatur; sister, Sue Scherer and brother, Mike (Elly) Perry of Decatur; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Patty was preceded in death by her father and one brother.
Memorial services to celebrate Patty’s life will be 2 pm, Monday, March 27, 2017 at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home; visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at a later date in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
