Patricia Ann Sears' Obituary
Patricia A. (Phelps) Sears – January 30, 1936 – June 7, 2024
Patricia Ann (Phelps) Sears was born to Seth and Edna Phelps on January 30, 1936, in Lisbon, Ohio. She grew up in a small town and was a cheerleader, majorette, and homecoming queen. She married Curtis James Sears on November 30, 1962. They had two children, Timothy Roger Sears (married to Tammy Sears) and Amy Jean Shackelford (married to Van Shackelford). She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Patricia loved to spend time with her family, cook, bake, sew, golf, and visit all the dogs (and their owners) on her daily neighborhood walks. She loved her people well—she was dedicated to her family and generous with the communities she built around herself. She was one-of-a-kind; her smile and laughter will be missed. Patricia was a wonderful servant of the Lord, helping those in need with food and clothing no matter the distance. Patricia is survived by her sister Jean Hart, son Tim Sears (Tammy), daughter Amy (Van), grandchildren – Stephanie (David), Jennifer (Matt), Tim (Sara), Josh (Cathy), Molly (Toby), Jill (Ryan), Jennifer (Dylan), Vanessa (Nick) and her great-grandchildren – Adrienne, Kierstin, Jon, Wray, TJ, Selah, Truett, Claire, Hanna, Madison, Morgan, Ella, Max, Brooke, Sophia, Annika, and Vivienne.
