Patricia Dian Tate's Obituary
Patricia "Pat" Dian Harris Tate, 67, of Decatur, died on Friday, March 23, 2007, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Memorial services celebrating her life will be 7 pm Monday, March 26, 2007, Maroa Christian Church, Maroa, with Pastor Ron Rector officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
Pat was born on February 12, 1940, in Decatur, the daughter of Floyd Sanford and Dorothy Mildred Caldwell Bliss. She worked for the Maroa School District for 35 years as a custodian, for 25 of those years she also drove a bus. Pat, along with her husband, Bob, were die hard St. Louis Cardinal fans. She was a member of Maroa Christian Church. She was a cat lover who collected Beanie Babies and Homco Figurines. Pat married Robert H. Tate, Jr. July 24, 1992.
Surviving are her husband, Bob of Decatur; sons: Donald Woolsey, Bryan Kim Harris of Decatur, Kathy Dunham of Decatur, Pam Dean Scharnett of Decatur; step-son, Terry Lynn Lisa Tate of Decatur; 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; brother, Stoy Sue Bliss of Maroa; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, one infant son and one granddaughter.
The family of Patricia "Pat" Tate is being served by the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2801 N. Monroe St. Decatur.
