Patrick Thomas Hogan's Obituary
Patrick Thomas Hogan , 70, of Columbus, Ga. died Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Muscogee Manor Nursing Home.
Mr. Hogan was born March 19, 1948 in Seattle, Washington son of the late Edward Thomas and Mary Louise Hall Hogan. Mr. Hogan began his career in Texas as a CPA and received his PHD from the University of Texas at Arlington. He retired from Columbus State University in 2016 as a professor of Business. As a professor, he was published several times to include co-authoring a text book. Mr. Hogan loved his dogs, motorcycles and was a member of Cascade Hills Church.
Other than his parents, Mr. Hogan was preceded in death by his sister, Marsha Hogan.
Survivors include his wife Gwen Hogan of Columbus, Ga., daughter, Lindsay Hogan of Boston, Massachusetts, son, Brian Hogan of Portland, Oregon, sister, Debbie Hogan (John Shanks) of West Palm Beach, Florida.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home; visitation will be one hour prior. Private burial will take place in South Macon Township Cemetery, Macon, IL.
