Paula Sue Livesay's Obituary
Decatur-Paula Sue Livesay, 72, of Dewey, Illinois formerly of Decatur and West Frankfort, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Paula was born October 8, 1945 in Taylorville, Illinois, the daughter of Louis and Angeline (Donini) Antenore. She retired from IL Power and then worked the 1st State Bank in Johnston City. Paula was a former member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and attended Mass in West Frankfort. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and was a caretaker who looked after everyone. She loved all children but especially her two grandsons. Paula enjoyed spending as much time with her grandsons as possible as they grew up. She even loved her grandpups and never failed to bring them treats even wrapped up treats at Christmas. She married Daniel “Dan” Livesay in December of 1990.
Paula is survived by her husband Dan, son Christopher Beaty and wife Tamara, grandsons Austin Beaty and wife Kelsey and Benjamin Beaty, great-grandchildren Nash and Romy who is on her way, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Fred Antenore, and one sister Rita Simmons.
Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Paula’s life will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 407 E. Eldorado St. Decatur, with Rev. John Burnette celebrant. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Tuesday, October 17, 2017 in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial in Riverside Cemetery in Mahomet Twp. will immediately follow Mass. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
