Pauline Mathias-Curry's Obituary
Pauline Mathias-Curry, 87 of Greenville, formerly of Decatur, died Sunday November 18, 2007 in Fair Oaks Nursing Home, Greenville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am Saturday, November 24, 2007 in Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Joe Molloy as Celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to service in the church. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery. The family suggests Masses for memorials.
Pauline was born on February 9, 1920 in Calvary, KY the daughter of Sylvester and Mamie Murphy Ewing. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She married Leslie Mathias Jr. in 1937 in Lebanon, KY he preceded her in death on July 20, 1993. She later married Walter Curry in Decatur he preceded her in death on November 16, 2000.
Surviving are her daughter, Barbara J. Weiss Larry of Pocahontas; daughter-in-law, Kay Mathias of Decatur; sister, Dorothy Jean Woolington of Decatur; six grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her, parents, two husbands, sons, Larry Mathias and Paul Mathias, three sisters, and three brothers.
