Words can not fully express the love and appreciation that I felt for Phyllis. After our Mom and Dad died, Phyllis opened her heart and home to Pat and me, as her "extended" family. Our little sister, Joni, was blessed to have a gracious mother in law. They shared a loving relationship that one can only hope for. She was the only Grandmother that Joni and Hugh's kids really knew. Pat and I were so grateful that the kids had Phyllis and Chuck. Phyllis was such a wonderful woman who loved and cared about her family.. I remember staying at their house with Jeanette several years ago and she always was hospitable and was a blessing to be around.. I will miss her.. I pray for her family and papi that God would just be with each and every one..
