Randle T. Hayes' Obituary
Decatur – Randle Thomas Hayes, 58, of Decatur, passed from this life on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.
Randle was born October 01, 1966, in Decatur, IL, the son of Raymond D. Taylor and Della Mae Hayes. A U.S. Army veteran and member of Bright Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Randle worked at the Decatur Foundry for many years.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Maki Wiley of Decatur; father, Raymond D. Taylor of Decatur; sisters: Sheila Hayes, Elaine Taylor, and Cora Taylor all of Decatur; special friend Annie Garrett of LA; Godmother Dorothy Strong of MS; special aunts: Ethel Currie and Gussie Reed; a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Randle was preceded in death by his mother, three sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be from 11am until the service time of 12pm, Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial with military rites will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Randle’s memory can be made to Bright Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church or Mamie D. Hayes Educational Foundation.
