Dear Mr. & Mrs. Chase, I don't think we've ever met, but I have talked to Raquel's grandma on the phone. I am a secretary at Meridian High School, and I have a special place in my heart for Raquel. I saw her everyday in the lunch room when she got back from vocational, and she always smiled and said Hi when she handed me her lunch token. I was so worried about her when you had to move to Iowa, but then was so happy for her that all went well there, and that she graduated. Seeing her picture today, you could tell she was so happy & proud to have accomplished that! I didn't know about her passing until this afternoon or I would have come to her service today. I am so sorry for your loss of Raquel. I have 3 daughters of my own, & I know you must be feeling such anquish now. I know that the angels in Heaven are rejoicing with her right now, but, oh, how she will be missed here on Earth. Raquel was so special, and I am so glad that I was able to share in a small part of her life. God bless you & your family, and He'll give you comfort – just lean on Him.Julie Ramsey Moweaqua, IL US
